WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
The ideal candidate should possess the following traits and skills:
- Minimum five years experience
- Be highly motivated with a strong interest in the field of water resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulics.
- Experience with AutoCAD would be an asset.
- A degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering and demonstrated interest in becoming a licensed professional engineer.
Your duties would include:
- Performing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater management, sanitary sewer and water supply systems.
- Preparing reports and letters to document proposed designs.
- Applying for permits from conservation authorities and governmental agencies.
- Preparing preliminary designs for stormwater management ponds and other municipal servicing infrastructure.
Salary would be in line with industry standards, plus overtime pay when required.
